John Gitto has technical experience in design, manufacturing and service of instrumentation in corrosion measurement, research electrochemistry, HPLC, sample handling and fluidics. He has worked in and managed projects for instrument hardware and software development, firmware programming both in Windows and Embedded System, development of manufacturing processes and customer service. His business background consists of R&D , manufacturing and service management over the last 33 years in the scientific instrumentation field.
GP Instruments was started by John Gitto and Andrew Palus. The two have over 40 years of experience in scientific instrumentation, electronics, programming and manufacture. We serve the markets of fluid handling, electrochemistry, corrosion measurement, instruments design, mechanical design for sensors, customization and contract manufacturing. We operate from a facility near Knoxville, TN where we have the equipment and personnel to meet our development needs. We call on a network of consultants, experts and colleagues to help you solve your problems.
We produce stock products for fluid handling, electrochemistry and corrosion measurement. We will work with you to modify those products to help them fit a specific application.
We manufacture boards and do final assembly for customers. We cater to the low volume needs of many small businesses.

Andrew Palus has technical experience in analytical chemistry, corrosion measurement, research electrochemistry, HPLC, sample handling and fluidics. He has worked in and managed projects for instrument and software development, firmware programming both in Windows and Embedded System, methods development for analytical and corrosion measurement and basic lab research. His business background consists of marketing management, sales management and general management in the instruments and scientific field. He is a published author in the field of analytical electrochemistry and corrosion measurement with book chapters and papers to his credit.
